The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026, of Charles "Pope" Connick of Summerside, PEI, aged 82 years.

Pope was born in Kinkora, PEI, to the late Walter and Mary (McMahon) Connick. Beloved husband of Joan (Murphy) Connick and loving father of Cathy (Richard) Lloyd and Peter (Andrea) Connick. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Matthew and Sarah Lloyd, Jessie, Spencer and Amy Connick.

Survived by his brothers and sister; Bernice Cameron, Father Joseph Connick, Keith (Bonnie) Fraser, sister in-law Agnes Connick and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his sisters Mary Dunbar, Margaret (Borden) MacDonald, Noreen (Ronnie) Peters, brother George Connick and brother in-law Wilbur Cameron.

Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday, January 24th, 2026, then to St. Paul's Catholic Church for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.  Interment to take place at a later date in St Paul's Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 5 -7 p.m.
