The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, PEI on Saturday, January 17th, 2026, of Sharon Ann Tassell (Gallant) of Summerside and formerly of Kensington, PEI, aged 75 years. Sharon was born in Souris, PEI to the late James and Theresa Gallant (MacDonald). Beloved wife of Bill Tassell and loving mother of Dana (Laurier) St. Louis and Ashley (Victoria) Tassell. Loving grandmother to  Kassidy and Kole Tassell.

Survived by her brothers and sisters Linda Peters, Beverly Schwab, Cindy Gallant (Lester), Sandra (Danny) Banks, Jerry Gallant, Roger Gallant (Theresa), Phillip Gallant (Darlene) and Peter Gallant, sisters- in-law Marita and Marie Gallant and brother -in-law Wayne Clinton and by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by her brothers Johnny and Leonard Gallant, sister Dianne Clinton, brothers in-law Jim Schwab, Gerald Peters and sister in-law Shellie Gallant.

Resting at East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Rd. Summerside until Friday January 23, 2026 where Viewing / Visiting hours are from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. Followed by procession to the Kensington United Church for the funeral service at 2:00 p.m.
