The death occurred peacefully at Summerset Manor on Sunday, January 11th, 2026 of Barbara "Barb" Oakley (LeMoine) of Summerside, aged 77 years.  Barb was born in Sydney, NS, to her late parents, Harry and Mae (Cuff) LeMoine. Beloved wife of the late James "Jim" Oakley and loving mother of Debbie Oakley (Jeremy Doucette), grandson Ryan, and Derek Oakley (Christine Clements) and grandchildren Hunter and Sophie and their mother Anne Douglas.  

Survived by sister Doris (Charles) Weatherby, brother-in-law, Arthur (Pearl) Oakley and Donald (Greta) Oakley. 

Predeceased by her in-laws, Arthur & Alice Oakley, sisters Vera Snow and Crena Bryant, and brothers Harry, Fred and Doug LeMoine. 

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd, Summerside, until Thursday, January 15th, 2026, for a funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 pm. 

Interment to take place at a later date in Cape Breton, NS.
