The death occurred peacefully on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, of Wilfred Robert Peterson, in his 93rd year, at his private residence. Bob was born in St. Eleanors, to his late parents, Baldur and Margaret (Compton) Petersen.

Beloved husband of Doris, and loving father of Pam (Roger) Gallant of PEI, Margaret (David) Peterson Harvey of Texas, Elizabeth Peterson (William Wu) of Alberta, and Jennifer Peterson of Alberta.

Bob will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Stephanie (Ryan), and John(Donna), as well as his great grandchildren.

Survived by his sisters, Genevieve and Doreen, and his brother, Grant.  Predeceased by siblings Harlan, Eleanor, Gordon, and Frances.

By personal request, no visitation nor funeral service.

Interment to take place at a later date.
