The death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor on Sunday January 4th,  2026 of Elma Mary (nee Landry) Sonier of Summerside, age 101 years. Elma was born in Summerside to her late parents Joseph and Matilda (Wedge) Landry.

Beloved wife of the late Donald Sonier. Loving mother of Donna (Brian) Sutton, Judy (Desi) Desjardins, Gloria Birch (Arthur Gallant), Bill (Mary Kay), Joey (Lorena), Timmy (Janice), Donnie, Noel (Vera), Robbie and Tony.

Elma was a loving grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

Elma was the last surviving member of her family.

No visitation or funeral service by personal request.
