It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Randall “Randy” Champion of Summerside, Prince Edward Island aged 68 years.  Randy was born in Summerside to his late parents Jack and Joyce (nee Taylor).

Beloved husband of Mary (nee Profit) and loving father of Ryan, Greg (Nancy) and Courtney.

Randy will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Jasmine, Layla, Josephine, Hazel, and George.

Also lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews.

Survived by the following brothers and sisters : Karen (Donnie Campbell), Ron, and Lori, his godmother Marie Stretch, as well as his brothers and sisters-in-law: Ron (Donna) Profit, Sheila (Ron Gillis) Profit, Irene Profit, Maureen (Rick) Brennan, Norma (John) McNeill, and Angela Profit.

Predeceased by Fr. James Profit, Jean Profit, Glen MacWilliam, Robert Gallant, and his father and mother-in-law Bill and Kay Profit.

Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the ER and ICU at Prince County Hospital as well as first responders.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Sunday December 28th where visiting hours will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday December 29th, 2025 at 1:00pm. 

Interment to take place at a later date.
