The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by his daughters, family and friends, at the Prince County Hospital on Sunday, December 21st, 2025, of Ivan Joseph  Arsenault of Miscouche, PEI and formerly born in St Chrysostome, aged 78. Ivan was born to his late parents Ferdinand and Melina Arsenault (Henry).

Extremely proud Pepe of 7 grandchildren, Trisha (Eddy), Devon, Alex (Normie), Ashton (Kendra), Blaze, Jaxon, Jayc and one great-grandson, Spencer.

Survived by sister Marcella (Danny) Adams and brother-in-law Paul Arsenault, nieces and nephews: Pauline and daughter Emi, Cory (Cindy), Jeremy (Ginette), Amanda (Jonathan) and more along with many great nieces and nephews. Also, by his life long family friends (Siblings) Danny MacPhee and Sandra MacPhee.

Predeceased by his parents, brothers Andrew, Albert, Urban (Ella), sister Florence Paynter and his special friend Marg Holland.

Ivan was a devoted father and grandfather, a steady presence for his daughters, his seven grandchildren and his cherished great-grandson. A true family man, he spent many years working in the woods as a lumberjack and on the water as a fisherman - never afraid of hard work and always ensuring his family was provided for. He loved deeply and lived with a quiet strength.

He found joy in the simple things: feeding the foxes, driving and discovering new places, spending long days out on the water in his boat. The woods were his second home, where he enjoyed nature, hunting and the peace it brought him. Family gatherings meant everything to him and time spent together was his greatest treasure. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
