The death occurred peacefully at Andrews Of Summerside on December 20th, 2025 of Nancy DesRoches (MacKinnon) (nee Arsenault) of Summerside aged 77 years.  Nancy was born in Summerside to her late parents Frank and Flo (nee Hachie) Arsenault. 

Beloved ex-wife of Mokey MacKinnon and loving mother to Shannan (Shelley), and Monica (Andrew).

Nancy will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Alec, Blake, Cole, Brody, and Chloe.

Also lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews.

Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Linda Little, Darrell ”Snappy” (Paula), Rodney (Carol “Sissy”), Allie (Ruth), Robert, sisters-in-law Mary and Heather, as well as brother-in-law Darrell.

Predeceased by siblings Carl, Keir, Francis, Helen (Buck), Noonie, and Marlene (Desi) and brother in-law Doug.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245, Pope Road, Summerside, until Monday December 29th, 2025 where visiting hours will take place from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Summerside Tuesday December 30th, 2025, at 10:00 am.

Interment will take place at a later date.
