Regina Vivian Murphy Obituary

With profound sorrow yet great joy, we tell all who knew and loved Regina (“Gina”) that she has gone

Home.

To those who survive Gina, take heart. She is at peace.

To those who have gone before her,

Enjoy her beautiful spirit that now confirms her faith that there is nothing to fear.

We say farewell to the human body that carried Gina through her earthly journey,

But we never say goodbye to her gentle spirit as it now flies free with the angels.

A child is born – her name is Regina Vivian Roberts.

It is good.

Gina grows up and celebrates life with her parents, Sadie and Aloysius, and seven brothers:

Ezekiel/Marjorie, Desmond/Marie, Eldon/Jean, George/Linda, Marcellous/Marilyn, Gerard, and Winston,

as well as three sisters: Elaine/Ray Smith, Marjorie/Reg McLellan, and Marina/Don Whelan.

It is good.

Young, beautiful Gina meets a handsome, humorous man named George Edward.

It is good.

Gina and George marry; they welcome seven children: Terri/Brian; Hughie/Pam; Shawn; Paulette/Peter;

Marcia/Randy; Patrick/Barb, and Robert.

It is good.

The family experiences love, adventures, struggles, happiness, and sadness.

It is good.

Gina and George experience the loss of family and friends.

It is good.

Gina and George have many amazing grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

It is good.

George is tired; Gina cares for him.

It is good.

Gina is tired and takes her last breath in her earthly home.

It is good.

Gina goes Home.

It is good.

Hallelujah

Amen and Amen

Cremation has taken place. At Gina’s request, there will be no visitation. A mass celebrating her life will

be held at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Seven Mile Bay, later in the Spring - when the birds are

singing, and the flowers are blooming, think of Gina. Prayers, cards, and bird houses welcome.
