It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Jim Morris on December 14, 2025 at Prince County Hospital. He was born in Summerside to Joseph and Margaret Morris and is the beloved husband of Louise (Parent) Morris; cherished father of D’Arcy (Lori) Morris; Stacey (Terry) Dougay; Jason (Stacey) Morris; David Enman; stepfather to Glenn Murphy and Tara (Derek) Bourgoin. Jim also leaves to mourn his loss three grandchildren: Daniel (Nathalie), Sarah, Paige (Raouf), and three step-grandchildren: Ashley, Gaelen and Jackson.

He was predeceased by an infant son Darren, parents Joe and Margaret, sister Beverly, brother Gerald and brother in law Joe Wells.

Survived by siblings: Ron (Mona), Mary Stewart, Dianne Hart, Reg (Lorraine) and sisters/brothers-in-law: Jane Wells; Paul (Kathy) Parent, Michele Parent, Patrick (Shelley) Parent, Philip Parent, Lorna Parent, Jill (Mark) Emery, Marcel (Pierrette) Parent. 

Special thanks for the care provided by the staff at the PCH and Summerset Manor, Jim’s home for the past year.

Visitation is at East Prince Funeral Home on Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Funeral will be at St. Malachy’s Parish on Monday, December 22 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery following the funeral mass.
