The death occurred at his residence in Summerside, on December 11th , 2025, of George DesRoche of Summerside, PEI, aged 74 years.  

George was born in Summerside to his late parents Austin and Leta (nee Noonan) DesRoches.

Beloved husband to the late Judy (nee Morrison) DesRoches, and loving father of Susan and Amanda (Brody Jenkins) DesRoches.

Lovingly remembered by his granddaughter Ella Jenkins, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Survived by his sisters Catherine (Dan) Ross, Dianna (Calvin) Coughlin, Donna (Todd) Swim, and his brother Brent.

Predeceased by his sister Lesa DesRoches.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Wednesday December 17th, 2025, where a celebration of life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m.

Visiting hours will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.

Interment to take place at a later date at the Searletown cemetery.

Donations in George’s memory can be made into the education fund for Ella through RBC.
