On Saturday, December 6th, 2025, Richard Gaudet of Miscouche, PEI, aged 66, died peacefully at his late residence after a brief illness.  Richard was born in Summerside to the late Peter and Marguerite (Arsenault) Gaudet.  

Survived by his brothers and sisters, Pauline Blacquiere, Kenneth, Brenda (Leo) LeBlanc, Nancy (Leonard) Coombs, Dianne Gaudet, Karen McKenna, brothers-in-law Dale Yeo and Leo Poirier and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Eddie, John, Linda Yeo, Betty Poirier, brothers-in-law David Blacquiere and George McKenna.

Richard was a devoted employee for over 40 years at Klondike Farms, where he never missed a workday. 

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. A funeral service will be held at a later date, followed by the interment in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Donations may be made directly to St. John the Baptist Church.
