The death occurred suddenly at her late residence on Sunday, November 30th, 2025 of Heather Rooney (Muttart) of Summerside, aged 75 years. Heather was born in Summerside to the late Leslie and Florence (Perry) Mailman. Beloved mother of John (Melanie) Blanchard. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Brooke (Grant) and Griffin (Chas).

Survived by her brothers Arnold Muttart and "Turk" Blaine Muttart.

Predeceased by her brothers Wayne Muttart, Whitmore Muttart and Perry Mailman.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. Interment to take place at a later date in St. Paul's Cemetery. By personal request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in Heather's memory can be made directly to the  Heart and Stroke Foundation.
