The death occurred suddenly at his late residence on November 18th, 2025 of Ovila “Orvie” Joseph Gallant of Abram-Village, PE and formerly of St. Hubert, PE aged 62 years.  Orvie was born in Summerside to his late parents Frank “Gus” and Mary Pearl (Pellerin) Gallant.

Loving father of Crystal Culleton, Melissa Gallant, Christopher Culleton, Curtis Culleton (Shauna Waite) and Dylan Clements.  Also lovingly remembered by many grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Evelyn Shaw, Leona Shaw, Amanda Richard, Teresa (Nelson) McArthur, Victor (Lisa) Gallant, Vince (Debbie), Nettie Belliveau, sister-in-law Jean Gallant and by his loving aunt Anne.

Predeceased by his sister Betty (Gordon) Shaw, brother Camille, an infant brother Leonce, two sisters at birth, by his granddaughter Oaklyn Culleton and brothers-in-law Milton and Alfred Shaw.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday, November 22nd, 2025 where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m.  Visiting hour from 1:00 until the time of service.
