The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PEI, on Sunday, November 9th, 2025 of Muriel Mary Marryatt (Broderick) of Kensington, PEI and formerly Summerside, aged 74 years. 

Muriel was born in Alberton, PEI to the late Peter and Rita (Doucette) Broderick. Beloved wife of the late Bruce Marryatt and loving mother of Bernadette Perry (late Ernie Waite), Raymond (Lana) Chaisson, Peter (April) Chaisson and step-daughter Brenda MacDonald.

Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Cody, Samantha, Jackson, Jason and Logan. 

Survived by her sister Barb (Jim) Phillips, brother in-law Ronnie Chaisson and several nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by her step-son Brian MacDonald, brothers Clifford Doucette and Harry Broderick and sister Linda Chaisson. 

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday, November 13th, 2025 where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 pm. Memorial donations in Muriel's memory can be made directly to the Prince County Hospital Lights for Life. Visiting hours on Thursday from 1:00 - 2:45 pm.
