The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Wednesday October 22nd, 2025 of Rayburn Joseph Albert of Summerside, aged 78 years. Rayburn was born in Alberton, P.E.I. to the late Joseph and Stella (Dugay) Albert. Loving father of Troy Van Drunen.  Grandfather to Shelby Bryleigh (Kirk).

Survived by his brothers and sisters Raymond (Julie), David (Leslie), Junior (Helen), Geraldine, Ivan (Rhonda), Christine (Wayne), Marlene (Danny), Darlene, Eric (Darlene) and Charlene, sister in-law Wendy Trowsdale and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his brother Nelson, brother in-law Chuckie and grand-neice Serenity.

Resting at East Prince Funeral Home Summerside until Tuesday October 28th, 2025 where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m.  Memorial donations in Rayburn’s memory can be made directly to East Prince Health Palliative Care Program. Visiting hour from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
