It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Dylan Ryan Thomas, on October 21st, 2025, age 23, gone far too soon.

Born November 5th, 2001, to Glenn and Crystal (nee DesRoche) Thomas, with a boundless energy and an easy smile, Dylan filled every room he entered with laughter, warmth, and light. He was a true social butterfly, making friends wherever he went and leaving a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to know him.

Dylan loved his family including his fur babies Mauzi, Jerry, and Tesla. He loved his family deeply, and they were the center of his world. Though he could be a little stubborn at times, that same spirit made him strong, independent, and unwavering in his convictions.

Dylan was the pride and joy of his grandparents Gary and Ella DesRoche, and the late Elvin and Ruby Thomas.

Dylan will be deeply missed by his aunts Cathy (Paul), Susan (Bryan), and his uncle Colin (Natalie).

The star of every family function and social gathering, Dylan will be lovingly remembered by his many cousins, all other family members, and his large circle of incredible friends.

Predeceased by Richard Rayner, Danny Thomas, and Lynn Thomas.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Monday October 27th, at 1:00 pm where visiting hours will be held, and a celebration of life at 3:00 pm.

Dylan’s bright light will continue to shine in the memories and hearts of all who knew and loved him. His laughter, kindness, and courage will never be forgotten.

Donations in Dylan’s memory to the PEI Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
