My grandfather was a kind, thoughtful man who never once let his smile leave his face, and never let you leave without you knowing one of his story’s. I will forever cherish the short 16 years we had and remmber our wagon rides, gardening, and the peices of candy he would sneak me even though Grammy didn’t allow it.
Thank you too everyone sending condolences while our family is in our rough patch. Grampy would have loved it.

I met Kelvin through my Uncle Clinton who stayed in their apartment. I got to be friends with his mom, Vivian, and think, by that time, I had already known Janet, his sister. Hard to believe that I have known Kelvin for half of my life. How the time flies. Since first meeting him on our visits to PEI he has always been so welcoming , not enough fingers and toes to count the Birthday and Holiday meals shared together. They won't be the same. When Jason and I moved to the Island in 2012 to raise first, our Isabelle and soon to follow, Isaac, Kelvin was such a help getting us set up and for whatever Jason and I needed. In those early days Grampie loved taking Isabelle for walks in his wagon and Isaac too , sometimes on a leash because Isaac was such a speedy little guy! Gardening was also a favourite activity for Grampie and his little ones. I will be forever grateful for the love and affection Kelvin gave to his Grandchildren. We couldn't have asked for more. We love you Grampie. As for me, I have 20 years of hilarious memories to cherish. Kelvin was one of a kind, vibrant funny, warm, sincere and kind. He will sure be missed by our family. Love you Grampie.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
