The death occurred suddenly at his late residence on Wednesday, October 8th, 2025, of Wayne Pye of Summerside, PEI aged 66 years.  Wayne was born in Summerside to his late parents Wesley and Rosella (Morrison) Pye.  Beloved husband of Maureen Pye (Gauthier) and loving father of Ashley (Brandon) Waite.

Also lovingly remembered by his 2 grandchildren, Nora and Millie and several nieces and nephews.

Survived by the following brothers and sisters:  Al (Mary), Wendell (Zella), Winston (Mel), Gerald (Debbie), Darryl (Lisa) and Colleen (Wayne).

Predeceased by his sister Doreen.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside.  By personal request, there will be no funeral service.  Visiting hours on Friday, October 17th, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Interment to take place in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Miscouche.
