Linda Myers Obituary

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025, of Mary “Linda” Martin (Myers), aged 77 years. Linda was born in Tignish to the late Clovis and Jane (Gaudet) Martin.


Beloved wife of John Myers and loving mother of Lori Ann Fitzsimmons, Kevin Myers (Suzy) and daughter in-law Maureen Connellan.


 


Linda was a proud grandmother to Amanda, Justin, MacKenna, Ripley, April, Maren, Lillian, Eva and great grandmother to Madalynn.


 


Survived by her brothers and sisters Melvina (Delsie) DesRoches, Frank (Mary) Martin, Elmer (Muriel) Brenda (Buddy) Pitre, Ernest Martin, Stewart Martin and several nieces and nephews.


 


Predeceased by her son Daniel Myers, sisters Lorraine Sherran, Ilma Hogen, Norma MacWilliam and niece Shelly Martin.


 


Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday September 20th, 2025 where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m.  Interment to take place in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Miscouche. Memorial donation in Linda’s memory can be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society. Visiting hour from  9:00 a.m. until time of service.
