The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, September 12, 2025, of June Gallant, aged 66 years, following a brief illness. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of Una Gallant and the late Frank Gallant. June will be deeply missed by her devoted son Jamie, her loving partner Kenny, and her cherished siblings: Gary (Margaret) Gallant, Betty Blanchard, Debbie Wedge, Darlene “Pumpkin” Blanchard (Paul Arsenault), Joan (Mike) Martin, Diana (Paul) Arsenault, Wayne (Christine) Gallant, and Cathy (Vincent) Arsenault.

She was a beloved stepmother to Angela Gaudet (Rob Campbell), Katrina Gaudet (Carrie Ann Donavan), and Lisa (Scott) Boswall. June was a proud grandmother to Dakota, Savannah (Brad), Avery, Addison, and a loving great-grandmother to Emma.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Wayne Gallant, grandson Carson Dugay, and brother-in-laws Roger Wedge and Reggie Blanchard.

June will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends for her love, strength, and witty humor.

Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16th, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service. Interment will take place following the funeral at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. In lieu of flowers, donations to Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
