The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Thursday, August 28th, 2025, with his loving wife by his side, of Louis Joseph Gallant of Summerside, PEI aged 83 years.  Louis was born in Summerside to his late parents Gussie and Bella Rose Gallant.  Beloved husband of Margaret J. Gallant and loving father of Julee Ann.

Also lovingly remembered by 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Survived by his sisters Irene Mathews and Louise MacDonald.

Predeceased by his parents Gussie and Bella Rose, son Kevin Mark and sisters Una DesRoche, Janet Powers and Ina MacIntyre.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Friday, August 5th, 2025 then to St. John’s Anglican Church where a private committal service will be held at 11:00 a.m.  By personal request, there will be no visitation or service held.
