The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Prince County Hospital on Tuesday, August 19th, 2025 of Reginald “Reggie” Joseph Blanchard of Summerside, PEI. aged 75 years.  Reggie was born in Summerside to the late Hubert and Lucy (Cormier) Blanchard.  Beloved husband of Bet (Gallant) Blanchard and loving father of Krista (Ashley) Peters.

Proud Papa to his two special grandchildren, Chloe and Isaak and his fur grandbaby Taya, who he loved to share his meals with.

Survived by the following brothers and sister Ivan (Joanne), Eileen (Brian) Sears, David (Ethel), Nelson (Sharon), Ronnie (Darlene), Michael (Donna) as well as his sister in-law Thelma, mother in-law Una Gallant and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his brother Wayne, nephew Bobby, father in-law Frank Gallant, great niece Rylee Faith, sisters in-law Jean and Lesley and niece Jennifer.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday, August 23rd, 2025 where a funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Donations in Reggie’s memory can be made directly to the Prince County Hospital Foundation.  Visiting hours on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
