The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, PEI on Wednesday, July 23rd  2025 of Rita Blanche Martin (Arsenault) of Summerside and formerly of Middleton, PEI aged 91 years.

Rita was born in Middleton, PEI to the late Joseph and May Arsenault.  Beloved wife of the late Clifford Martin and loving mother of Maxine Paynter and Chris (Lisa) Martin.

Also lovingly remembered by three grandchildren, Devin, Riley and Owyn. 

Survived by her brother Homer Arsenault and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her sisters Edna, Doris and Sadie, brother Leonard, son-in-law Andy Paynter and sister-in-law Mrytle.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside.  No service or visitation by personal request. A graviside service will be held on Friday, August 1st, 2025 at 3:00 pm at St. Paul's Cemetery.
