The death occurred peacefully at Wedgewood Manor on July 22nd, 2025 of Alfred David Rogers of Summerside, and formerly of Indian River aged 85 years. Alfred was born in Indian River to his late parents William and Lillian (Simmons) Rogers. Beloved Husband of Harriet. Also lovingly remembered by his several nieces and nephews.
Survived by his brothers Ralph (Elma) Rogers, James (Marion) Rogers, Wayne (Carolyn) Rogers, and sisters Eileen (Wayne) Loxdale, and Rita (Allie) DesRoches.
Predeceased by his brother Allison Rogers, and sisters Dorothy Dycke, Vera Dekker and Marion Crozer.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday July 24th, 2025 where visiting hours will be held from 5-7 p.m. Funeral service to take place Friday July 25th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow the service at the People's Cemetery in Malpeque, and a reception to follow.
