Fran Noye Obituary

It was with heavy hearts on Tuesday, July 8 th , 2025, at Prince County Hospital, when family said good bye to Frances “Fran” Elizabeth Noye (88 years of age), daughter of the late Havey and Hilda (Lyle) Colwill, as she joined loved

ones she has missed so dearly.


 


Beloved wife of her first husband, the late Warren Mugridge and second husband, the late Thane Noye. Loving mother of Peggy (Eldon) Kilbride, Terri (Paul) Gallant, William Noye-deceased (Kathy Comeau) and Darcy Noye (Jackie Somers). Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Amy Kilbride (Kenny Dodds), Colin Kilbride, Skylene Waddell (Nick Coughlin), Keira Noye (Randy LeClair), Reed (Trisha Banks) Gallant, Page Gallant (Alex Mitchell), Brittany Somers (Matt Stead), Rankin Noye and Katie-Grace Noye, great grandchildren Iyla Kilbride, Maverick Kilbride, Ocean Waddell, Wren Clark, Freeman LeClair, Millie James Gallant and Boone Stead.


 


Survived by brothers in law and sisters in law Harold (Marnie) Noye, Esther MacLean, Eunice Noye, Janet Noye, Anna Noye, Harry Williams, Don Callbeck, Edward (Eddy) Mugridge, Liane Dixon, Linda Mugridge. Predeceased by her brother Byron Havey (Junior) Colwill and the following brothers and sisters in law: Wallace Noye, Ella Mae Noye (in infancy), George Noye, Carl Noye, Allison Noye, Glenn (Reggie MacLeod/Junior MacPhee), Helen Biggar-Callbeck (Elmer Biggar), Joyce Williams, Claude MacLean, Alfred Mugridge (Kathleen/Lucy), Velma Mugridge and Sterling Mugridge. There were also a good number of cousins, nieces and nephews from PEI and all across Canada Fran would enjoy having visits from.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Friday, July 11 th , 2025, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. Interment to take place in People’s Cemetery, Summerside.

Memorial donations in Fran’s memory can be made directly to PEI Humane Society, Prince County Hospital Foundation or East Prince Palliative Home Care. Visitation hours on Friday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
