The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PEI on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025 of Barbara “Barbie” Bernard (Martin) of Summerside, aged 73 years.  Barbie was born in Summerside to her mother Joyce Feyes (Gallant) and her father the late Walter Martin.  Beloved wife of 47 years to Keir Bernard. 

Survived by her brothers and sisters: Linda (Jim) Simmons, Brenda (Albert) Milligan, Sheila (Brian) Richard and Richard (Nicole) Martin and 11 nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her brother Gary Martin.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside.  A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 4th, 2025 at  2:00 p.m. in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside.
