I was looking up another obituary on this website and was shocked to learn of Helen's passing. I feel so badly that I missed attending the funeral, as I definitely would have made it a priority had I known. Helen and I spent years standing beside each other in the church choir, and she always had me in stitches of laughter. She was as quick witted as Delbert and always had a beautiful smile and caring personality. Helen was very complimentary of others, while being such an angel herself. She had her "doll house" in Tryon always decorated so beautifully inside and out. I always enjoyed when Helen read scripture on Sunday mornings in church, because she read so well with her "radio voice". Helen definitely will be missed by so many, leaving a mark of kindness behind like no other. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. May you hear many stories shared that can only add to your treasured memories. Big hugs to you all!

Dear Debbie, Merv, Jason and Jager
A more purely kind person you will never find. While your loss and sadness of losing your mom and grandmother is profound now, I hope you find peace in knowing because of her faith she truly is at peace, free of pain and dancing with Uncle Delbert. Love Sheila MacKinnon

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
