In Loving Memory of Gerald Enman

February 5th, 1934 – June 13th, 2025

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Richard Gerald Enman, a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and well-known businessman, who passed away peacefully on June 13th, 2025 at the age of 91.

Over a marriage lasting 66 years, Gerry and his wife Georgene found immense joy and pride in watching Michael, Natalie, Cheryl and Nadine grow, prosper and have families of their own. Whether attending school and sports events, or simply enjoying their company, Gerry was a constant and caring presence in their lives.

Gerry was a businessman. He owned Enman Auto Supply, Softie Freeze Dairy Bar, and The Old Stanley Schoolhouse, while also working as the general manager of the Summerside Waterfront Development Corporation. He was a member of the Summerside Chamber of Commerce and The Rotary Club of Summerside.

Gerry leaves behind a family who loved him deeply. He is survived by his wife Georgene, his children Michael, Natalie, Cheryl, and Nadine (Gimmi) and his grandchildren Jarrett, Brittany, and Calum, and many family and friends who will miss him dearly. He will surely be missed by his furry grandchildren, too.

He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments, but for the strength of his character, the love he gave so freely, and the lasting imprint he leaves on all who knew him.
