Dearest Nadine, Natalie, Cheryl, Michael, and Georgene, please accept my most sincere condolences on Gerry's passing. I have so many fond memories of childhood times spent at the Enman house(s) on Poplar Avenue and ooogling over Kenwood stereo equipment at Enman Auto! LOL. I will always remember Gerry as a kind, jovial, and loving father and Summerside business icon! What a full and wonderful life to celebrate. My love to you all! Grant Williams

I have very fond memories of Gerry, he was my 1st cousin. He and Georgie would sometimes drop in to visit us in Tryon. Our mothers, Gladys and Margaret were close sisters and friends.
I always enjoyed Gerry's sense of humor and will always remember his lovely smile!

One more memory from me when we moved to PEI in 1975 I was 16 , got invited to go goose hunting with U Gerry , Vance , U Wayne and my Dad (Donnie) it was a big deal ! Unfortunately I was 16 and in the words of my Mom
A little shit lol so I was bored and wasn't mature enough to know that this was a great time . I had 4 Enman brothers joking laughing and just enjoying being out there in the beautiful countryside. Dad and Gerry are now gone I wish I had a do over for that day because I would take it in a second.
Thanks for everything U Gerry and knowing it or not you did a lot

Uncle Gerry will live on lovingly in my memory.Im so glad I knew him . Some of my earliest memories are of driving overnight from Massachusetts to PeeEye for vacation getting the first boat in the morning and arriving at Poplar ave to wake up the Enman clan .Herry always had a smile and that great Enman witt . He could joke and tease with the best of them .I also spent a lot of time in my teen years after moving to the Island hanging around with Mike at the house . Gerry and Georgie always made me welcome and part of the family. He had that great Enman smile and charm . I will miss him. My Dad was blessed with a lot of Brothers and Sisters who are or were all special to me I'm glad I have them . Going back to the Island will not be the same without my Uncle Gerry

We would like to say a special thank you to Vance and Janice Enman for their kindness over the years. They would drive Dad and Mom to Charlottetown for their appointments many times. They wouldn't hesitate to help in any way they could. We are so grateful and appreciate it so much! Thank you again for being their for them when we couldn't.
Love Natalie, Cheryl, Nadine and Michael.

Uncle Gerry was like a second father to me in my youth. I believe he recognized how important it was for me to have time to integrate as we moved from the states to Canada. Everyone thought it was easy - he made it easier. I loved being with my cousins Natalie and Cheryl, who were close to my age and he and Georgie invited me in to their family and took me everywhere with them. I spent wonderful times with them at their cottage and went on trips to the ice follies in Moncton and hung out in their basement on Poplar ave. They even gave me my first job at the dairy bar and taught me the basics of business that still last with me until today. To say that Uncle Gerry made a lasting impression on my life is an understatement - and I will be forever grateful for that. Along with my Uncle Vance, he was a pillar as we lost our own dad. Thank you Uncle Gerry for everything. Little things matter and you recognized that. Rest in peace now; you will remain forever in my heart.
Your niece, Dawn

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
