On May 30, 2025, George Everett Cameron went home to be with the Lord. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 38 years Karen Cameron, daughters Shannon Lafleur (Neal),

Destiney Glasspoole, son Ron Ell (Nikki), 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews most of whom are on

Prince Edward Island where he was born in Summerside.

He was predeceased by his father Everett Cameron, mother Una Cameron, brother Donald Cameron, twin brothers in infancy and grandson Jamal Cameron.

George is also survived by his 10 brothers and sisters: Ann (Roger Elliott), Valerie (Paul Olscamp), Arlene, Theresa, Michael, Robert (Dawn-Marie), Paul (Michelle), Mary (Sam Dalton), Marjorie (Scott Boone), Mark (Rowena Smith).

George will be remembered as always having a smile on his face and great sense of humor. He had a big heart and brightened every room he was in.

Cremation has taken place. Service to be held at Parkland Baptist Church 121 Brookwood Drive, Spruce Grove Alberta, T7X 1C4 on June 21, 2025 at 1:00 pm.

Officiated by Pastor Josh Munan. The service will also be live streamed.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Cross Cancer Institute of Alberta and Royal Alex Hospital health care team who cared

for him. Of special note of gratitude, to Pod B Palliative Home Care nurses who did a phenomenal job in his personal care. Of special note was his favourite nurse Evelyn Joy.
