My deepest condolences to Martha’s family. I met Martha in 2008 through Rhonda. We hung out often until I moved to Texas in 2013. I always looked forward to dinner with her and Rhonda every time I came home. She even made a stop to see me during one of her trips to Texas. I will miss her humor, her laugh and her big heart. Sending you love and strength during such a difficult time.

We never met Martha but she looks like a happy person , full of life and enthusiasm ,so would have enjoyed meeting her. We wish to extend our deepest sympathies to Sue and her mother with the sudden passing of a daughter and sister who will be truly missed ! I worked at McDonalds many many years ago, when I was 14. Martha was there back then Im sure. I always thought she was so professional and gave it her all at her job. Many years (35) she still spoke to me by name when I would see her in the drive through. A kind hearted soul. Gone too soon ❤️

My heart is broken for everyone who was touched by this lovely lady. She was certainly a gemstone. Loved that I got to talk to her and her mom , almost weekly, at my job. I remember training her at MacDonald’s many,many years ago. They were so lucky to have her among them. Deepest condolences to her family and all her Macdonalds family.

Terrible news. My condolences to all of Martha's friends and family. My first job was at McDonald's during high school in Summerside, and Martha did her best to create a welcoming and supportive environment for all staff. I'll be thinking of the McDonald's family and everyone else affected. Thanks for the memories, Martha!

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
