Craig, E. Lester - The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, of Lester Craig of North Tryon, aged 75 years.

Beloved husband of Sharon Craig and loving father of Mark (Tammy) Craig, Jennifer (Geoff) Bishop, Sara (Ryan) Schofield, and Brent (Lauren) Craig. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren; Alec (Vanessa) Craig, Tessa Craig (Holden Sheen), Andrew Craig;  Luke, Emma, Matthew and Ryan Bishop; Charlotte, Cole, Logan and Benjamin Schofield; Isabelle, Carlie and Oliver Craig and one great-grandchild, Kai Craig. Lester will be dearly missed by his brother Donnie Craig, and sisters Erith (Bloyce) McLellan and Marion (Jim) Harris as well as sisters-in-law Carole (Stanley) Gordon and Marion (Henry) Fawcett as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. He is predeceased by his parents Eric and Jessie Craig.

Lester was a lifelong farmer and proud steward of the land at Centerbrook Farm, where he dedicated himself to a successful potato and mixed beef operation. Known for his unwavering work ethic, deep respect for the land, and quiet leadership, he took great pride in farming as both a way of life and a responsibility. Lester lived a life of service—always willing to lend a hand to a neighbour, support his community, and give generously. His commitment to sustainable practices and to serving others leaves a lasting legacy in the community he loved.

Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside, for visitation on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held at Long Creek Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 11 at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lester’s memory may be made to Farmers helping Farmers or the Salvation Army Summerside
