Robert “Bob” Maynard, age 90, of St. Eleanors, died peacefully at Clinton View Lodge on June 1st, 2025 with family by his side. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Dorothy “Dot” (Cannon) Maynard, and his beloved children Don (Betty Gordon), Ann (Bryan Parker), and Alan (Susan Maynard).  Loving grandfather of Olivia Maynard (Patrick Clark), Bethany Maynard (Brett Driscoll),  Aiden and Sean Parker, Celeste and Noah Maynard.

Bob is survived by his brothers Jim “Gordon” (Susan deceased) and Lyman (Linda) Maynard; and brother in-law Leigh Newcombe.

Predeceased by his parents Leigh and Pearl Maynard, sister Christie Newcombe, sister in-law Susan Maynard and Dorothy’s parents Harry and Rowena Cannon. 

He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside.  No visitation by personal request.  A graveside service will be held at a later date.

If so desired, memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Anglican Church.  Donations can be mailed to the Parish office at 74 Summer Street, Summerside, C1N 3H9 or a charity of choice.
