Obituary of Philip John Curtis

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on Sunday, May 4th, 2025, of Philip John Curtis of Summerside aged 64 years. Philip was born to his late parents, Norman and Bernice (Roberts). Beloved husband of Jeanie Curtis (Dyment). Loving father of Timothy (Bev) and stepdaughter, Christina Walfield.

Lovingly remember by his grandchildren, Odin, Zoelynn, Delia, Denton, Joel along with many nieces and nephews.

Philip is survived by his brothers Lowell (Judy), Bloyce (Donna), Alex (Nancy) Art, Elmer (Kelly) and sisters Janet and Jeannie, brothers-in-law Earl and Eric Dyment, sisters-in-law Shirley Paugh, Gina Dyment and Sherry Paugh..

He was predeceased by his parents, Norman and Bernice, Parents-in-law Roy MacDonald and Florence Dyment MacDonald, sisters Georgina and Norma, brothers-in-law Ken Allen, Ivan Arsenault and Bobby Paugh, niece Amanda Curtis in infancy and niece Annie McPhee.

Philip was a Volunteer Fireman for over 20 years and he will be dearly missed by his fellow firemen.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. By personal request, there will be no visitation. Burial date and time at Bideford United Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
