My sincere sympathy to you all I grew up with Kenny in Borden and Kenny never changed every time we spoke at Walmart he had such beautiful words about his family. We spoke of his illness and he always was upbeat and said I have a big hard head don't worry about me. He always had a helping hand and one time he really helped me with my mother which he and I never forgot and had a laugh each time we spoke of it. A wonderful man gone too soon rest easy now Kenny you will be missed.

Karen I was so sadddened to read of Kenny's passing suddenly. I have talked with ken 2 to 3 times every week for many years at Walmart. Always shouted out coming in and then a passing comment as I went out . I had been to Walmart Thursday and I thought,"oh Kens not on today". I see on this tribute that everyone is the same. It came as stunning news and I will feel numb going into Walmart from now. WE talked of health often as I followed his journey few years back and then my turn in 2023. My deepest sympathy to each of your family Karen, your kids and grandchildren and the Bridges family and MacLean family. I regret that we are in Halifax with our grandchildren this week, because I would be there for the get together on Tuesday. I will never forget the one and only Kenny MacLean. Donnie Harris

Karen, Lucas n Logan, my deepest sympathy on the death of your husband n father. While I was still working he would drop into my office n would chat forever. Finally I'd say, Kenny I really should do some work! He loved life with his family at the top of the list! I remember when he got the job at Walmart. Who else but Kenny could turn that part time job into a gift for himself n everyone that he met. He has left a wonderful legacy to his grandchildren on a life well lived despite many setbacks. Big shoes to fill. Sincerely Jean Ronahan

I am a sales representative. I work in Walmart once a week for the past 12 years.
I met Kenny just by going in to the store. He was a beautiful person inside and out.
He had such a love of life and the battles he had with his health made him appreciate his life so much more.
I want to extend my condolences to his family and friends.
RIP Kenny.
You will be missed......

It is with great sadness that I learn of Ken's passing. He had a personality that would light up a room and all of Walmart! I enjoyed our conversations when we would meet there, Ken filling me in on his latest news, never with a discouraging word. Rest in peace Ken. And to you, Karen and family, know that the love you have shared continues beyond the grave.
God's blessings to you, Mary MacPherson.

My deepest condolences to Kenny’s family and friends. He was a wonderful person who will be greatly missed and was a great asset to Walmart. Just before Easter Kenny allowed me to take his arm which enabled me to walk easier into the store. He was always so quick to get me a ride on in the store and we’ve had a few conversations regarding health and life. He made the day brighter. You will be greatly missed Kenny.

Karen and family,
Kenny was one of those people who left a major impact in many lives. I grew up with Kenny in Borden and he has never changed in the way he treated everyone with respect and kindness. His ability to connect with people was amazing and he always had that booming laugh and a story to tell!
Many times, I would stop to talk to him and he would always speak about his 2 boys with such pride and his grandchildren who he dearly loved. Karen was always in his conversation and he told me many times, "she is the love of his life."
My thoughts and prayers are with Karen and family. Treasure all the wonderful memories Kenny has left you with.

Kenny will definitely be missed. His smile lit up any room he entered. I remember all the Christmas dinners we had at the Bridges, and then they all came over to the Thompsons New Years Day. Kenny was so much fun to work with at Walmart and always had a kind word to say to everyone who walked through the doors. My heart goes out to his family at this time. All my love and hugs to you all. Kathryn

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
