
Obituary of David Lea Snow
The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital in Summerside, PEI on Sunday, April 6th, 2025 of David Lea Snow aged 59 years of Summerside, PEI. Born in Charlottetown, PEI to his parents Mary Snow and the late Leonard Snow.
Loving father of Wendy Snow (Brian), Nicole Snow (Matt), Scott Perry (Darcie), Brenda Perry (Jason) and Brielle Snow. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Jackson, Hunter, Georgina, Pacey and Brandon. Also special girls Brooklyn Doucette and Braelynn Petty.
Survived by his brothers and sister Robert Snow (John), Debbie Gallant (Vincent), Boyd Snow (Joyce), Wade Snow (Karen), Dwayne Snow (Tracy) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his father Leonard and granddaughter Serenity. As well as his special fur babies Mya and Molly.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, PEI where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, April 11th at 2:00 pm. Interment to take place at a later date in Westmoreland Baptist Cemetery. Donations in David's memory to the funeral expense fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Thursday from 5:00-8:00 pm.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
