Obituary of Margaret Irene Paton

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PEI on Tuesday April 1, 2025, of Margaret Irene Paton (Dawson) of Summerside, aged 92 years.  Margaret was born in Summerside PEI to the late Reginal “Rex” and Florence” Florrie” Dawson.

Beloved wife of the late John Paton and loving mother of Garry (Phyllis) Paton, Doug (Jadwiga) Paton  and Jody- deceased (Bernard) Reeves. Also lovingly remembered by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survived by her sister in-law Helen Dawson and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her sisters Vessie (Emile) Trudell, Bertie (Prowse) Chappell, Hazel (Loren) Sandler and Martha (Donald) Schurman and by her brother Myron Dawson.

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Donations in Margaret’s memory can be made directly to the Salvation Army or International Children’s Memorial Place.
