



Obituary of Percy Stetson Collicutt
The death occurred at Prince County Hospital on Sunday, March 30th, 2025 of Percy Stetson Collicutt of The Mews, Margate, PEI formally of Borden, aged 76 years. Percy was born in O’Leary to his late parents Johnson and Margaret (Jones) Collicutt.
Lovingly remembered by the last member of his family, his sister Leta DesRoches of Forest View.
Greatly missed by two of many of his friends, Gary Costain and Nancy Curtis, his niece Emily (Collicutt) King along with many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Percy was predeceased by his sisters and brothers Elsie Brechiam, Earl Collicutt, Eileen Ellis, Charles Collicutt, Norma Noonan and Glen Collicutt.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Rd, Summerside until Friday April 4th, 2025 where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date in Westmoreland Baptist Cemetery.
ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
