
Obituary of Nancy Lea Keough
The death occurred suddenly in Florida on Sunday March 16th, 2025 of Nancy Lea Keough (Ramsay) of Linkletter, PEI, aged 76 years. Nancy was born in Summerside, PEI and raised in Conway to the late Ernest and Bernice (Milligan) Ramsay.
Beloved wife of Jimmy Keough and loving mother of Jeremy Waite (Gerlie) and Jana (Aaron) Newsome. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jordan and Chance Waite, Jace and Walker Newsome and great granddaughter Leksi.
Survived by her brothers Billy, Robbie, Ronnie, sisters Sandra, Edna (Ted) MacLeod, brother in-law John Keough, sister in-law Debbie Keough and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her granddaughter Kinlea, father and mother in-law Ernie and Mae Keough, sisters in-law Emily and Sandra.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd, Summerside until Saturday March 29th, 2025 where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Donations in Nancy’s memory may be made directly to PEI Humane Society.
ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
