Obituary of Rufus Seaman Waddell
The death occurred peacefully at Andrews of Summerside on Thursday March 6th, 2025 of Rufus Seaman Waddell of Summerside, PEI, and formelry of Cape Traverse, PEI aged 95 years. Rufus was born in Charlottetown, PEI to the late Urban and Marion (Dixie) Waddell.
Beloved husband of Georgina (MacKenzie) Waddell and loving father of Gordon (Brenda) Waddell and Heather Caseley. Also lovingly remembered by 1 grandchild, Andrew (Jennifer) and 4 great-grandchildren Shelby, Jackson, Andy and Victoria.
Survived by his sisters Rita Villard and Mary Carlson, brother Jackie (Donna) Waddell and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his sons Leigh and Bonnie Dale (Infancy) and sister Elsie Quigley
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Monday March 10th, 2025 where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date in Tryon Presbyterian Cemetery. Donations in Rufus memory to can be made directly to the Tryon Presbyterian Cemetery fund. Visiting hours are on Monday from 1pm until time of service.
