Obituary of Betty Coles

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PEI on Wednesday February 19, 2025 of Mary Elizabeth “Betty” (Gallant) Coles of Summerside aged 77 years. Betty was born in Summerside, to the late Leo and Georgina (Peters) Gallant.

Loving mother of Tony -Deceased (Trish) Coles and Jody Coles -deceased in infancy. Cherish grandmother of Josh and Mason Coles.

Survived by her brothers Stan and Eric, sister Leona (Leslie), her truly best friend Aldoie and several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her sisters in-law Sandy and Hazel Gallant.

Resting at the East Prince funeral Home 245 Pope Rd. Summerside, PE. By personal request there will be no visiting hour or funeral service held. Interment to take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Betty’s memory can be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society.
