
Obituary of Clarence Henry Clark
The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Andrews of Summerside Thursday February 6th, 2025, of Clarence Henry Clark of Community of Linkletter, P.E.I., aged 89 years. Clarence was born in Summerside to the late Brewer and Grace (Bradshaw) Clark.
Beloved husband of his first wife Connie (Mills) and his second wife Doreen (McGuigan) Clark. Loving father to Kevin Clark, and Kathy (Stephen) Wagner and Amber (Greg) Quigley, stepfather to Terence (Lisa) Graham, Sharon Bernard and stepdaughter in-law Karen Graham. Also lovingly remembered by grandchildren Matthew, Julie, John, Felicia, William, Amanda, Barbara, Alex, Ryan, Nicholas, Katrina and Ashley, step-grandchildren Liam, Kaleb, Christopher, and Melissa.
Survived by his brother in-law Orville Dawson.
Predeceased by his sister Carol Dawson (her first husband Gordon Myers), stepson Rob Graham and stepson-in-law Donald Bernard.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Tuesday February 11th, 2025 where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Summerside at a later date. Donations in Clarence’s memory can be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Society. Visiting hour on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
