Obituary of James Gallant

The death occurred peacefully at Wedgewood Manor on January 23, 2025 of James “Jim” Joseph Gallant of Summerside aged 77 years. Son of the late Agnes and Theophil Gallant. Beloved husband of the late Pamela Gallant and loving father of Jason Gallant (from his first marriage to the late Freda Gallant), stepfather of Darren (Donna) Llewellyn, Stephanie (Jorden) MacAusland, and Larry (Susan) Llewellyn. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Dwight, Allison, Nicholas, Emma, and Liam, great grandchild Eileigh, as well as nephew John, and niece Alanna. Survived by his brothers Edward, and Richard (Thelma) Gallant.

Predeceased by his brother Gordie Gallant. 

Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope road, Summerside. Graveside celebration of life to take place in the spring. Donations in Jim’s memory can be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society.
