To The Family Of James (Jimmy) Gallant:
I Am Very Sorry To hear The Loss Of Your Beloved One.
I Remember Jimmy Quite Well And Have Worked Together At The Mushroom Plant In Freetown Many Many Years Ago.
I Also Remember Jimmy Married To His First Wife Freda And Living On Ottawa Street Just Across From Our Home.
Jimmy Was Always So Kind He Would Help Anyone In Need And Never Requesting Anything In Return.
I Will Never Forget Jimmy Following Me back To Summerside From Freetown During A Christmas party That Was Held Through The Company The Mushroom Plant. And Believe Me I tipped A few Bottles But Jimmy Made Sure I Made It Home.
I Remember His saying To This Very Day Gosh Man You Cant Drive I said You Stay Behind Me Till I get To Summerside And That He Did.
To Anyone Who Got To Meet And Knew Jimmy Would Know He Was A Very Nice Man. A Heart Of Gold
I Ask Our Dear Lord To Keep Jimmy In His Peace And Grant Him Everlasting Life.
Rest Peacefully Jimmy
Fly Hight With The Angels My friend
You Will Never be Forgotten.
James MacDonald (Hippenstall)
Toronto, Ontario.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
