
Obituary of John Stuart Perry
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025 of John "Toe" Perry of Summerside, PEI, aged 58 years. John was born in Toronto, Ontario to his mother Joyce Perry (Doucette) and his father the late Gordon Perry. Loving father of Ella and her mother, Roxanne.
John is survived by his sister, Darlene (Dave) Greene and his brother Jamie (Tara) Perry, nieces and nephew Emma, Abby, Taylyn, Blakely and Eii.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Tuesday, January 28th, 2025, where a Funeral Service will be held in the funerfal home chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date in St. Paul's cemetery. Visiting hours on Tuesday, January 28th from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service.
ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
