
Obituary of Munden Hollett
The death occured peacefully at his late residence on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 of Munden Hollett, aged 69 years. Munden was born in Windsor, Newfoundland to the late Arthur and Effie Hollett.
Survived by the following brother and sisters: Arthur Hollet, Kingston, Ontario, Pearl Norris, Grand Falls, Newfoundland, Hazel Sugg, Sundridge, Ontario and Ada Wilkerson, Brockville, Ontario.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, PEI. By personal request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Interment to take place at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kingston, Ontario.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
