The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday, December 30th, 2023 of Marlene May (O’Dell) Canning of Summerside, aged 76 years born in New Brunswick.


Beloved wife of William “Bill” Canning and loving mother of John O’Dell. Survived by her sisters Valerie O'Dell, Donna (Harold) Conway and Betty Stevens and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Doris Hashie.


Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. A funeral service will be held for family and friends at the funeral home chaplel on Friday January 5th at 2:00 p.m.. Memorial donations in Marlene’s memory can be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society.
