Obituary of Nichols, Kenneth "Ken" Edward
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Tuesday, January 19th, 2021 of Kenneth "Ken" Nichols of Summerside and formerly of Surrey, BC. and Hamilton, ON., aged 76 years. Ken was born in Hamilton. ON. to the late William and Irene (MacKay) Nichols.
Beloved husband of Julie (Brown) Nichols and loving father of Lon and Jon (Candace) Nichols. Also lovingly remember by 5 grandchildren Andrew, Aaron, Shandi (Michael), Brandy (Amanda) and Kayla, 3 great grandchildren Ami, Anakin and Jace.
Survived by his brothers Bob (Kim) Nichols, Jan (Jan) and brother in-law Bert (Mary) Brown.
Predeceased by his daughter Tracey Nichols-Chapman and brother Danny Nichols.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. By personal request there will be no funeral service or visiting hours held. Memorial donations in Ken's memory to Summerside Baptist Church would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
