Obituary of Compton, Lilian Adele
The death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Sunday, February 7th, 2021 of Lilian Adele Compton (nee Manderson) in her 94th year. Formerly of St. Eleanors, PE.
Beloved wife of the late Edmund Compton and mother of Ian (Sheila), Alfred, Doug (Shirley), Cathy (Robert) and daughter-in-law Verna. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Trevor, Kevin, Jason, Matthew (Katie) and Linda and her great-grandchildren Nathan, Elizabeth, Taylor and Kaitlyn.
Survived by brothers-in-law Jim, North Bay, ON and Len, Kenora, ON.
Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Jack, Jean, Eva, Ann, Maude, Betty, Marion, Orville and Leigh.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. A Graveside Service will take place in the spring. Memorial Donations may be made directly to The Summerset Manor Memorial Trust Fund, (902) 888-8310.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
